Our Materials 

At Baguettes & Beyond, we work with the finest materials. Our jewelry is crafted in recycled 14k Solid Gold, 18k Solid Gold.

14k Yellow gold is 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% alloys. It is yellow with a slight orangish tinge due to its higher copper content.

18k Yellow gold is 75% pure gold and 25% alloys, so it is a more buttery yellow color than 14k yellow gold.

18k Yellow gold is slightly softer and about 15% heavier than 14k Yellow gold.

 

14k White gold is 58.5% pure gold 41.5% white alloys.

18k White gold is 75% pure gold and 25% white alloys.

White gold is naturally off-white color because of the white alloys. For this reason, white gold jewelry is rhodium plated.

 

 

14k Rose gold is 58.5% pure gold and 41.5% rose alloys have a pink color.

18k Rose gold is 75% pure gold and 25% rose alloys.

14k and 18k rose gold have a very similar color and overall appearance.

 

 

Diamonds and Gemstones

We create our jewelry using natural diamonds and gemstones that are free from conflicts. The diamonds possess a natural G color and SI quality without any enhancements or treatments. The gemstones are hand cut and ethically sourced. Our emeralds are treated as natural emeralds, following the usual practice of treating them with oil or other "fillers" to improve the clarity of the emerald.
